The Ambassador room :was remodeled in the mid 1980’s when the house was first converted into a bed and breakfast. The room is named for the German ambassador to Canada who stayed here when he was buying an antique clock from the previous owners.
The English Flame mahogany half tester bed dates back to 1850. The craftsmanship on the footboard is amazing. The canopy and coverings were updated in the 1990’s. The mahogany armoire also dates back to the 1850’s.
In the hall you will see an antique German court Cupboard/Linen press made from carved walnut.
Please take a minute to look at the intricate hand carving. There is also an antique English oak carved side chair and Canadian fainting couch with original horse hair.
